Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver MedBlack Transport LLC.

Part-Time / Per Diem (PRN)

Pay:

$18-$21/hour , with overtime paid as required by California law About the Position MedBlack Transport is seeking reliable, professional, and compassionate NEMT Drivers to provide safe transportation for ambulatory and wheelchair-bound clients. Trips may include medical appointments, personal outings, one-way and round-trip transportation, and local or long-distance trips . Responsibilities Safely transport clients using company-provided vehicles Provide professional door-through-door assistance Safely load, secure, and transport wheelchair passengers Assist clients with mobility needs Complete local and long-distance trips Be comfortable working shifts of up to 12 hours , when scheduled Use a mobile dispatch application for trip assignments and communication Complete trip documentation and vehicle safety inspections Provide excellent customer service while maintaining client dignity and safety Qualifications Valid California Driver's License and acceptable driving record NEMT experience preferred Long-distance driving experience preferred Bilingual driver preferred, but not required Experience transporting wheelchair passengers is a plus Ability to pass required background check and drug screening Reliable smartphone capable of running dispatch applications Professional, dependable, and punctual Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to safely assist/push wheelchair passengers up to approximately 200 lbs. Schedule & California Breaks Flexible Part-Time / Per Diem / PRN scheduling Weekday, weekend, and occasional evening availability may be needed Local and long-distance assignments available Shifts may be up to 12 hours Legally required meal and paid rest periods will be provided in accordance with applicable California law Company Vehicles & Equipment Brand-new 2026 Toyota Sienna fleet Company vehicle provided during work shifts Wi-Fi hotspot and navigation Mobile dispatch system No personal vehicle required for assigned work Dress Code Black company-approved shirt - Mandatory Black pants, black jeans, or professional fitted athletic wear Black shoes or boots Black company-approved hat - Optional Clothing must be clean, professional, and safe for assisting passengers Apply Today Join MedBlack Transport and become part of a team focused on safety, reliability, professionalism, and compassionate client care.
