As a key member of our mobility team, you'll operate Wheelchair vans, to deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to safety standards. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help us maintain our reputation for dependable healthcare transportation. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of vehicles such as shuttle buses, limousines, paratransit vans, and other commercial vehicles to transport patients, staff, and visitors. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility challenges or special needs. Ensure vehicle cleanliness, perform routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to maintain optimal vehicle condition. Communicate effectively with passengers, healthcare staff, and dispatchers to coordinate timely pickups and drop-offs. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during all driving activities. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety features are operational before each shift. Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers or loading equipment safely into vehicles. Experience Prior delivery driver experience preferred; familiarity with bus driving or limousine services is a plus. Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type. Experience in customer service roles demonstrating excellent communication skills and professionalism. Knowledge of paratransit operations or heavy lifting procedures is advantageous. Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting. Proven track record of safe driving practices in diverse traffic conditions. Requirements:
CPR, PASS, or Wheelchair Securement Certification Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record Ability to pass background check and drug screening Experience with wheelchair transport (preferred) Must be punctual, reliable, and professional
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Arabic/ Spanish) Prior NEMT or medical transport experience
