Medical Cannabis Delivery Driver Location:

Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities Available We are seeking reliable, professional, and safety-conscious Medical Cannabis Delivery Drivers to deliver regulated medical cannabis products to patients throughout Washington, DC. Drivers must provide and operate their own reliable vehicle for deliveries. Vehicles must meet company security and inspection requirements before being approved for use. When there are no active deliveries, drivers are expected to assist with basic patient check-in and front desk duties inside the dispensary.
Responsibilities Delivery Duties:
Safely and professionally deliver medical cannabis orders throughout Washington, DC. Pick up prepared and verified delivery orders from the dispensary. Follow all delivery, security, patient-verification, and chain-of-custody procedures. Confirm delivery information and verify required patient identification before completing an order. Maintain accurate delivery status and communicate with the dispensary throughout the shift. Use company-approved GPS and delivery systems while completing routes. Protect patient privacy and confidential information. Safeguard cannabis products, payments, and company property at all times. Immediately report delivery issues, accidents, security concerns, vehicle problems, or discrepancies to management. Maintain a clean and professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
Check-In and Front Desk Duties:
When there are no deliveries, drivers will assist the front desk with basic patient check-in responsibilities, including: Greeting patients entering the dispensary. Checking identification and required patient information. Assisting eligible patients with the DC ABCA online portal so they can complete the self-certification process. Helping patients navigate the registration process and enter the required information. Confirming that patient registration or self-certification has been completed before directing them to the sales floor. Explaining the basic check-in process to new patients. Answering basic questions regarding registration and store procedures. Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality. Keeping the front desk and check-in area organized. Communicating with sales-floor staff and management regarding patient flow. Following all company check-in, security, and compliance procedures. Drivers should be comfortable switching between delivery responsibilities and patient-facing front desk duties throughout their shift. Driver Vehicle Requirement Drivers are required to provide their own vehicle. Before being approved for cannabis deliveries, the vehicle must pass a company-required vehicle inspection. The company will provide drivers with the complete vehicle inspection and security requirements. Approved delivery vehicles will be required to have, at minimum: Two secure safes/lockboxes installed or secured inside the vehicle as required by company policy. Company-approved GPS tracking equipment. Reliable locks, windows, doors, and vehicle security systems. A clean and properly maintained interior. Current vehicle registration. Current automobile insurance. Valid inspection documentation when applicable. A vehicle that is mechanically reliable and suitable for daily delivery operations. Drivers may not begin cannabis deliveries until their vehicle has been inspected and approved by the company. Qualifications Valid driver's license. Reliable personal vehicle. Current vehicle registration and insurance. Clean and responsible driving history. Ability to successfully complete the company's vehicle inspection. Comfortable driving throughout Washington, DC in varying traffic and weather conditions. Comfortable working directly with patients at the front desk. Comfortable using online portals, smartphones, GPS navigation, and delivery applications. Ability to assist patients with online registration and self-certification. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently. Ability to follow detailed compliance and security procedures. Must meet all applicable eligibility requirements for working in a Washington, DC medical cannabis operation. Compensation $25.00 per hour + tips What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a hybrid driver and patient check-in role. This position requires someone who can safely complete deliveries while also helping the dispensary operate efficiently between delivery runs. Drivers should be personable, patient, professional, comfortable with technology, and capable of assisting new patients through the registration and self-certification process. We are looking for people who are dependable, calm under pressure, familiar with Washington, DC, respectful toward patients, and capable of following strict procedures without shortcuts. Important Vehicle Notice This position requires the use of your personal vehicle for work-related deliveries. The company will provide prospective drivers with the vehicle inspection checklist and specifications for the required two safes and GPS tracking system before final vehicle approval.
