Job Summary:

EVO's/Ambulance Drivers function as driver of an ambulance in the pre-hospital/inter facility setting on BLS transports. It is the perfect job for someone looking to further their career and become an emergency medical provider or enter the medical field.

Responsibilities:

Complete vehicle inspection at the start of each shift. Assist EMS staff with positioning patients on the stretcher including loading and unloading into the ambulance. Driving the ambulance safely from point to point.

Licenses/Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License (preferred 2 years driving experience.) Delaware EVO (& obtain Maryland PSC after hire) CPR (if you do not have CPR certification, we will hold class in orientation). High School Diploma or Equivalent Excellent customer service and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

Work requires physical effort including lifting 125 lbs unassisted, 250 lbs assisted. The job requires sitting/standing for long periods of time with an occasional need to stoop, kneel or crouch; occasional need to work in confined spaces and unusual positions.
