Job Description

Job Summary Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Applicants must pass a criminal background and drug screen test to include marijuana !!!!! Come Join the Yellow Transport Team! We provide safe, courteous rides to and from medical appointments. We have ambulatory (sedan/vans) and Wheelchair vehicles. We are currently hiring for both Ambulatory and Wheelchair drivers. Once certified the Wheelchair driver will get a $2.00 increase in pay to $16/hr We need friendly, dependable drivers for our staff. We use the latest, state-of-the-art technology to maximize Driver safety, including in-vehicle security cameras. Full/Part time positions available. Retired are encourage to apply. Must be at least 23 years of age and have a good driving record, No more then two moving violations in last three years). Some experience in commercial driving preferred, but we will train good candidates. Drivers use our vehicles. Submit resume or apply in person at 2930 Industrial Park Road, Suite A, Iowa City. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles to transport clients to and from medical appointments, ensuring timely arrivals. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility challenges. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with clients and dispatch to coordinate schedules and address any concerns. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Applicants must pass a criminal background and drug screen test to include marijuana !!!!!
