Job Description

Warehouse Helper/Delivery Driver Job DescriptionBayside Fire is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our field operations by ensuring materials, equipment, and inventory are accurately received, stored, organized, and prepared for delivery. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory and materials.
  • Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pull, package, label, and prepare materials for delivery to job sites.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Scan and verify delivered items for accuracy and quality.
  • Report damaged, defective, or missing materials to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and notify the supervisor when stock is low.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Safely stack and store large or bulky materials.
  • Deliver materials and equipment to job sites as needed.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse and field personnel to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card) required or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
