Warehouse Helper/Delivery Driver
Job DescriptionBayside Fire is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our field operations by ensuring materials, equipment, and inventory are accurately received, stored, organized, and prepared for delivery. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Essential Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory and materials.
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pull, package, label, and prepare materials for delivery to job sites.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Scan and verify delivered items for accuracy and quality.
- Report damaged, defective, or missing materials to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and notify the supervisor when stock is low.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Safely stack and store large or bulky materials.
- Deliver materials and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and field personnel to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card) required or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
