In this energetic and customer-focused role, you will operate passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, or specialized medical transport vans to ensure timely and comfortable journeys. Your dedication will help improve the quality of life for clients by delivering exceptional service while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Duties Safely operate passenger vehicles including vans, shuttle buses, or medical transport vans on local routes to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other non-emergency destinations. Ensure the secure loading and unloading of clients, providing assistance with mobility aids and performing manual handling tasks when necessary. Maintain clear communication with clients to provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and address any special needs or concerns during transit. Follow GPS navigation and route plans precisely to ensure punctual arrivals and departures while adhering to all traffic laws and state transportation regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Maintain accurate documentation of trips, client information, mileage logs, and incident reports as required by company policies and regulatory standards. Uphold professional conduct at all times, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that fosters trust and comfort among passengers. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, or shuttle buses is highly desirable. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and local driving routes to optimize efficiency. Experience in medical transportation or working with vulnerable populations is a strong plus. Knowledge of traffic regulations, state transportation laws, and safety protocols for passenger vehicles. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility aids or luggage. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, healthcare providers, and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or chauffeur license preferred but not mandatory depending on vehicle type.
