Job Overview Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for clients requiring non-urgent medical travel. In this energetic role, you will operate passenger vehicles, including vans and Wheel-Chair vans, to transport clients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. Our goal is to provide a safe, reliable, and stress-free environment to and from destinations! Responsibilities Safely operate various passenger vehicles such as vans and SUVs to transport clients on local routes adhering to all traffic laws and transportation regulations. Assist clients with boarding and disembarking vehicles, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and client information in compliance with company policies and state transportation regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly. Use GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes efficiently while adjusting for traffic conditions or route changes. Communicate clearly with clients to confirm appointments, provide updates on schedules, and address any special requests or concerns professionally. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all driving activities, including proper manual handling techniques when assisting clients or handling luggage. Proper safety harnessing techniques in the vehicle. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, chauffeur, or in personal vehicle delivery is highly valued. Demonstrated ability to operate passenger vehicles such as vans or limousines safely and responsibly. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to ensure timely arrivals. Knowledge of state transportation regulations governing passenger vehicle operation and heavy lifting procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse clients. Experience in medical transportation settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates. Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
