Job Overview Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals requiring non-emergency medical travel. In this energetic role, you will operate passenger vehicles such as vans, sedans, or specialized medical transport vans to escort clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. Your dedication ensures that clients arrive on time and feel cared for throughout their journey. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact in the community while enjoying a dynamic work environment. Duties Safely operate passenger vehicles including vans, sedans, or specialized medical transport vans on local routes and scheduled appointments Assist clients with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous and attentive customer service Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety protocols at all times Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee optimal performance and safety standards Communicate effectively with clients to confirm appointments, provide directions if needed, and address any concerns professionally Manage manual handling tasks such as loading and unloading mobility aids or luggage with care and proper technique Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and client interactions for reporting purposes Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles in a professional setting Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time traffic updates Ability to operate various types of passenger vehicles including vans, or client-specific transport vans Strong knowledge of local driving routes, traffic regulations, and safety standards governing passenger vehicle operation Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients respectfully and clearly conveying information Physical ability to be able in assisting clients or handling equipment safely Experience with vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure ongoing safety and compliance with transportation standards Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on providing a comfortable and supportive experience for all passengers Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills directly contribute to the well-being of others. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 50.0 per week
