Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Medical Transport Specialist/Driver, where your role is vital in ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate transportation of patients and medical supplies. This position offers an energetic environment focused on delivering exceptional service while adhering to strict safety standards. As a key member of our healthcare logistics network, you will be responsible for transporting patients, medical equipment, and supplies with professionalism and care. Your efforts will directly impact patient comfort and the smooth operation of medical facilities. Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles to transport patients and medical materials. Load, unload, and secure medical equipment and supplies using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws to ensure safe route driving at all times. Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients during pickup and drop-off, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey. Maintain accurate documentation of trips, deliveries, and vehicle inspections via mobile devices or onboard systems. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform safe lifting practices, and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to warehouse operations procedures when handling materials or assisting with moving tasks within facilities. Experience Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to operate commercial trucks or box trucks with manual transmission safely. Proven track record of adhering to traffic regulations and DOT standards during route driving. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory for all roles.
