Responsibilities Safely operate non-emergency vehicles, including sedans, SUV or paratransit vans, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety protocols Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous and respectful customer service throughout the journey Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met Communicate clearly with dispatchers, passengers, and healthcare providers to coordinate pickups and drop-offs efficiently Handle lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices and maintaining a focus on safety and comfort Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle condition reports for compliance purposes Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies during transit, communicating effectively with emergency responders if needed Experience Proven experience as a shuttle driver, delivery driver, bus driver, or similar commercial driving role Familiarity with paratransit services or heavy lifting tasks related to passenger assistance Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse passengers and team members Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., driver license or equivalent) with a clean driving record Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and safety procedures for commercial vehicles Experience driving limousine or school bus vehicles is a plus but not required Ability to handle demanding schedules while maintaining a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills Join us in delivering dependable transportation that makes a meaningful difference! $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
