Automation Personnel Services is seeking motivated C ontent Packers to join a growing team specializing property re storation. The Contents Packer is responsible for carefully packing, inventorying, transporting, and storing customer belongings affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, or other property damage. This position plays a critical role in protecting customer property during the restoration process and ensuring items are documented, packed, and returned in their original condition whenever possible. Pay Rate $ 18 .00 an hour Schedule and Hours Will change with various assignments C ontent Packers - Duties and Responsibilities  Pack and wrap customer belongings using industry-approved methods and materials.  Create detailed inventories of contents using inventory software, tablets, or written documentation.  Label , photograph, and track items for storage and return.  Load and unload contents safely at customer locations and warehouse facilities.  Move furniture, appliances, boxes, and household items safely and efficiently.  Assist with pack-outs, content manipulation, and pack-backs following restoration completion.  Clean , organize, and maintain warehouse storage areas.  Work in residential and commercial properties impacted by fire, water, smoke, or mold damage.  Follow company procedures for handling fragile, valuable, and specialty items.  Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer belongings.  Assist contents cleaning technicians as needed.  Ensure customer satisfaction through professional communication and service.  Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.  Perform other duties as assigned. C ontent Packers - Associate Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred. Ability to pass background screening and drug testing Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends. Reliable transportation to and from work. Preferred Previous moving, warehouse, restoration, packing, or logistics experience. Experience in water, fire, smoke, or mold restoration. Knowledge of inventory management systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong attention to detail. Ability to organize and track numerous items accurately. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer and mobile device proficiency. Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environments. Problem-solving and time-management skills. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to lift more than 50 pounds with assistance. Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods. Ability to work in warehouses, residential homes, and commercial buildings. Ability to work in environments affected by water, smoke, soot, dust, and other restoration-related conditions. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
