Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mover and become a vital part of our logistics and warehouse operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and transporting goods within our warehouse environment. Your efforts will ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes, accurate inventory management, and safe handling of materials. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment, coordinate with team members, and contribute to a fast-paced distribution operation. Duties Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes while adhering to safety protocols Operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners, forklifts, clamp trucks, and material handling tools to facilitate efficient order picking and inventory movement Assist with order picking activities, ensuring accuracy in selecting items for shipment or restocking Transport materials safely within the warehouse using manual handling techniques and heavy equipment operation skills Maintain accurate inventory records through proper use of RF scanners and inventory management systems Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries Support shipping & receiving operations by loading trucks, unloading incoming goods, and verifying shipment contents against documentation Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related warehouse operations Hands-on experience with order picker equipment, forklift operation, crane use, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and materials handling procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining proper manual handling techniques Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols including OSHA regulations and safe equipment operation standards Basic math skills for measurement verification and inventory calculations Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; a strong team-oriented attitude is essential Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth workflow Join us in creating a safe, efficient environment where your skills drive success!
