Duties Safely pack and prepare items for transport using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring secure placement to prevent damage during transit Operate various material handling equipment, including box trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools Assist with the movement of furniture and heavy items, adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines Drive delivery vehicles such as vans or box trucks along designated routes while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Ensure timely pickups and deliveries by following planned routes using mobile devices for navigation and communication Maintain accurate documentation of shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements to support warehouse operations Requirements Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Valid driver's license with experience in commercial driving or delivery driving; ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus Experience with commercial truck driving or courier services highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; knowledge of safe lifting practices is essential Familiarity with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or dollies Strong understanding of traffic regulations, DOT requirements, and weight handling in the workplace Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries or pickups Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment using mobile devices for route management and communication This role offers an engaging environment where your efforts directly contribute to customer satisfaction. Pay:
