This is a hands-on position. You will work with a crew to protect, carry, load, transport, and unload customers' furniture and belongings. What You'll Do Wrap and protect furniture using moving blankets, stretch wrap, and other packing materials Safely carry furniture, boxes, and other household or office items Load and unload moving trucks Organize and secure items inside the truck Assist with basic furniture disassembly and reassembly Protect customers' floors, walls, doors, and property Follow instructions from the driver or foreman Keep moving equipment and work areas clean and organized Treat customers and other crew members with respect What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual, and ready to work Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the day Comfortable carrying items on stairs and working in different weather conditions Careful when handling furniture and customer property Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team Professional appearance and attitude Reliable transportation to the assigned meeting point or job location Available for some early mornings and weekends Legally authorized to work in the United States Previous moving, delivery, warehouse, construction, or general labor experience is helpful but not required. Paid training is provided. Schedule This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time employment. Workdays and weekly hours may vary. Jobs take place throughout Westchester County, as well as in Manhattan, Connecticut, and New Jersey. The meeting location and start time will be provided before each scheduled job. Pay $17
