First shift, typically starting at 7:00 a.m. Must be willing to submit to a Nationwide Background Check, Motor Vehicle Record check, and Pre-Employment Drug Test. We are seeking dependable Box Truck Drivers / Furniture Movers to transport and move furniture from residential properties and businesses. This hands-on position combines driving with loading, unloading, and moving furniture and packed boxes. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck between residential and business locations. Load, unload, carry, and move furniture and boxes while protecting items and property from damage. Properly secure furniture and other items for transport. Work closely with the moving team to complete assignments safely and efficiently. Provide professional, courteous service to customers. Follow company driving, equipment, and workplace safety procedures. Qualifications Valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle and an acceptable driving record. Box truck driving and furniture moving experience preferred. Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting and carrying boxes typically weighing 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds, with assistance or equipment as needed. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to handle customers' belongings carefully and responsibly. Ability to meet company background screening and drug and alcohol policy requirements, consistent with applicable law. Employees must report to work fit for duty and must never operate a vehicle while impaired. The screening process may include assembling a box and demonstrating the ability to safely lift and carry 50 pounds or more, with reasonable accommodation as applicable. Schedule and Compensation Typical start time is 7:00 a.m. Most weeks consist of 30-40 hours , with some weeks reaching approximately 50 hours . Overtime opportunities with overtime pay. Starting pay of $21-$24 per hour , based on experience. Weekly pay. Temp-to-hire opportunity , with eligibility for company-offered benefits upon permanent hire, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
