Job Description
Job Overview 1099 Independent contractor We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a driver to complete furniture deliveries, ensuring items are transported safely and efficiently to our customers. The position requires teamwork, strength, and punctuality, with a standard work schedule from Tuesday through Saturday. Candidates must be able to commute to the warehouse location daily. Responsibilities Assist the driver in loading, unloading, and delivering furniture items to customer locations. Collaborate effectively with the driver to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Participate in lifting and moving furniture, with a team lifting capacity of at least 300 pounds between you and the driver. Follow safety protocols during all aspects of delivery and handling of goods. Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and promptly. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicle. Requirements Ability to work as part of a team, supporting the driver during deliveries. Must be 21 years or older Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen. Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy furniture items (minimum team capacity of 300 pounds). Reliable transportation or ability to get to the warehouse location daily. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers. Punctuality and dependability to adhere to scheduled work days from Tuesday through Saturday. Basic understanding of safety procedures related to lifting and transportation tasks. Bilingual preferred not required Capable of bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling and climbing stairs and in and out of a truck frequently. This position offers consistent employment hours, with payroll processed after two weeks of work, followed by weekly payments starting in the third week. This position also offers an opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be motivated, dependable, and ready to contribute to smooth delivery operations.
