About Power Moves Power Moves Relocation LLC is a Milwaukee-area moving company serving residential and commercial customers with local and long-distance moving, packing, and furniture assembly. We are hiring two dependable, teachable mover helpers. Prior moving experience is helpful but not required. What you will do Pack and box belongings, wrap furniture, and help load, secure, and unload moving trucks under the crew lead's direction. Lift, carry, and place furniture and boxes with proper equipment and team assistance. Help assemble and disassemble furniture using basic hand tools. Protect floors, doorways, furniture, and customer belongings. Follow crew instructions, communicate respectfully, and report damage or safety concerns promptly. Keep trucks, equipment, and job sites clean and organized. What we are looking for Dependability, a willingness to learn, and basic familiarity with hand tools. Reliable transportation to the designated Milwaukee-area meeting location; reporting details are provided before each assignment. Ability to follow safe lifting, packing, and loading instructions and work well with a team. Physical duties This is active, hands-on work involving lifting and carrying boxes and furniture, loading and unloading, stairs, bending, reaching, pushing and pulling, and extended periods standing and walking. Work takes place indoors and outdoors in changing weather. Must be able to perform essential duties safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. Use dollies, straps, and team lifts for heavy or awkward items, and ask for help when needed. Schedule Hours vary with booked moves; a set number of weekly hours is not guaranteed.
