Job Summary Box Life Moving is looking for a reliable and hardworking Lead Mover / Driver to join our growing local moving company serving Madison and surrounding communities. No moving experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. We're looking for someone who is dependable, physically capable, comfortable taking responsibility, and willing to learn. As a Lead Mover / Driver, you'll drive our company moving truck, lead a small moving crew, safely handle customers' belongings, and help make sure each move runs smoothly from start to finish.

Pay:

$23-$27/hour based on experience + 100% of tips Hours vary based on scheduled moving jobs. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for additional hours as Box Life Moving continues to grow. Responsibilities Safely drive a company box truck to and from moving jobs Lead and work alongside a crew of 2-4 movers Load and unload furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household or commercial items Properly wrap, protect, secure, and transport customers' belongings Use moving equipment including dollies, straps, moving blankets, and hand trucks Keep the crew organized and jobs moving efficiently Communicate professionally with customers throughout the move Help assess difficult or heavy items and determine the safest way to move them Maintain a clean and organized truck and moving equipment Follow company safety procedures and safe lifting practices Assist with moving, junk removal, cleanouts, and other services as needed Qualifications No previous moving experience required Valid driver's license with a good driving record Comfortable learning to safely operate a box truck Reliable and punctual Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Professional and respectful with customers Able to work well with and eventually lead a small team Comfortable with a physically demanding job involving lifting, carrying, stairs, and extended periods of physical activity Able to safely lift and carry heavy furniture and household items Must take pride in protecting customers' homes and belongings No CDL required. Paid training provided. We're looking for someone who wants to take on responsibility, work hard, and grow with a local moving company. You don't need moving experience to apply.
