We're looking for dependable, hardworking movers who take pride in doing quality work and providing great customer service. We're selective about the people we put in our customers' homes. You don't need years of moving experience to be considered, but you do need to be dependable, physically capable, willing to work hard, and able to work well as part of a crew. Professional moving company experience is preferred, and experienced movers may qualify for higher starting pay. Pay & Benefits Starting at $21.00 per hour base pay Higher starting pay may be available based on professional moving experience Customer tips earned in addition to hourly pay Performance bonuses Paid weekly Employee referral program Opportunities for advancement Schedule Full-time position Monday-Saturday availability required Hours vary based on customer demand and seasonality Most weeks provide full-time hours, although occasional slower weeks may have reduced hours What You'll Do Pack, wrap, protect, load, and unload household and commercial furniture Properly pad and protect furniture before loading Protect customers' homes, floors, doorways, and belongings Safely use dollies, straps, moving pads, and other moving equipment Disassemble and reassemble furniture when needed Work safely and efficiently as part of a professional moving crew Provide courteous, professional customer service Keep trucks, equipment, and work areas clean and organized What We're Looking For At least 18 years old Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ pounds throughout the workday Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a crew Professional attitude and appearance around customers Respect for customers' homes and belongings Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening Professional Moving Experience Is a Plus We're especially interested in applicants who already have professional moving experience and know proper: Furniture padding and protection Lifting and carrying techniques Home and property protection Truck loading and unloading techniques Use of basic tools for furniture disassembly and reassembly Handling of high-value furniture and specialty items Customer service on residential and commercial moves Why Brothers Moving & Storage?
