Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic aviation team as a Part-Time Flight Instructor, where you'll guide aspiring pilots through their journey to mastering the skies! This role offers the opportunity to share your expertise in flying aircraft, while adhering to federal regulations. As a key player in our flight training program, you'll deliver engaging instruction both in the classroom and in the cockpit, helping students develop confidence and competence in aviation.

Martinsburg, WV Position Type:
Part-Time Duties/Responsibilities Conduct classroom teaching sessions to cover theoretical knowledge, FAA regulations, safety procedures, and aviation best practices. Must be available Monday through Friday 8:30am-11:00am to teach ground school. The rest of the time can be flight instruction time. Lead practical flying lessons focusing on flying aircraft safely and efficiently under visual and instrument conditions. Evaluate student progress through assessments, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning needs. Maintain detailed records of training activities, flight hours, and student performance in compliance with federal aviation standards. Stay current with industry developments, including updates to FAA regulations and advancements in aviation technology, to ensure high-quality instruction. $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 13.0 per week
