Schedule, Flexibility, & Terms Frequency:

3 to 4 days per week (typically falling between Monday and Saturday). Approx. 3 hours per scheduled day).

Schedule Notification:

The specific driving days for the upcoming week will be finalized and sent to you no later than the Saturday prior to the week starting.

Contract Structure:

The engagement begins with an initial 30-day trial period to ensure a mutual fit for both parties. Upon successful completion of the trial, the position transitions into recurring 3-month contract agreements .

Compensation Structure Guaranteed Contract:

$1,000.00 fixed monthly pay , distributed bi-weekly ($500.00 every two weeks) via 1099. This breaks down to a guaranteed flat rate of roughly $75.00 per scheduled 3-hour shift block . Because a 3-hour minimum is built-in to accommodate the flexible scheduling and protect your time, you receive the full shift rate even if the actual driving time takes less than 3 hours. The contractor is responsible for providing their own vehicle, fuel, and standard vehicle maintenance. Minimum Position RequirementsTo ensure safety and full legal compliance, all applicants must meet the following baseline criteria:

Vehicle Requirements:

Must own and operate a clean, smoke-free, reliable 4-door sedan or SUV in excellent mechanical and aesthetic condition. Please note that I do have two dogs that may accompany me on therapy dog visits. I will provide all needed items such as seat covers, and will add an additional $25 dollars for those shifts. Insurance Requirements (Non-Negotiable): Must carry and maintain a valid auto insurance policy with either an explicit Commercial Auto Insurance policy or a formal Business Use / Commercial Rider attached to a personal policy. Proof of coverage must be provided prior to signing.

Licensing:

Must possess a valid, clean State of Michigan Driver's License.

Clean Record:

Must provide a certified copy of your 3-year Michigan Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) showing zero major infractions (no reckless driving, excessive speeding, or recent at-fault accidents).

Screening:
