In this role, you'll operate passenger vehicles, including vans, shuttles, and other commercial vehicles, to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. Responsibilities Safely operate various passenger vehicles such as vans, shuttles, and passenger vans in accordance with all traffic laws and state transportation regulations Transport clients to medical appointments, hospitals, clinics, and other designated locations using local driving routes Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and ensuring comfort during transit Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks; report any maintenance issues promptly Adhere to all safety protocols related to manual handling and heavy lifting when assisting clients or loading equipment Communicate effectively with clients to confirm appointments and provide updates on pick-up times or delays Follow GPS navigation instructions accurately to ensure timely arrivals at destinations Skills Proven delivery driver experience or background in bus driving, shuttle driving, or limousine services Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time traffic updates Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, passenger vans, or commercial vehicles in compliance with local and state transportation regulations Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients of diverse backgrounds Knowledge of medical transportation procedures and client handling best practices Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when assisting passengers or managing equipment Excellent driving record demonstrating adherence to traffic laws and safety standards Basic vehicle maintenance skills for routine checks and minor repairs when necessary Embark on a fulfilling career that combines your passion for driving with the opportunity to serve your community.
