About the Role We are seeking a part time Instructor to join our team and assist with practical examinations and classroom training. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance, helping to ensure all equipment runs efficiently and safely. All necessary training for class and field will be provided. Key Responsibilities Deliver clear, consistent instruction in both classroom and field settings to certification candidates Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects Operate heavy equipment as necessary for testing purposes or during repairs Administer hands on practical exams Perform yard maintenance as needed Continuously expand knowledge of the crane industry Repair hydraulic lines, starters, alternators, water pumps, belts and hoses Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on equipment Minimum Qualifications Valid driver's license Must live within 1 hour of Ontario, California. Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% within Texas and California Successful completion of company training Must possess or be willing to obtain

certification. Ability to pass background check Proficiency with basic computer and technology use (smartphone and laptop required) Strong communication skills and comfort speaking in front of groups Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Preferred Qualifications Rigger/Signal Person experience preferred but not required Diesel mechanic experience a big plus Previous classroom or training experience in heavy equipment, crane, or construction industries. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and within a team. Work Environment Combination of classroom and training yard. Exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and heavy equipment. Requires appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves). Ability to stand for extended periods. Pay For part time work pay will range from $25-$40 an hour based on experience and background.
