No Position Summary :

Position monitors validity of ticket/passes to limit fraudulent use.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities :

Checks every ticket or season pass using a radio scanner. May cross train with other elements of the Lift Operations Department. Assists with snow shoveling and crowd control maze set-up.

Secondary Responsibilities :

Also, works in cooperation with Schweitzer Security. Must be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain facilities and amenities. Must be comfortable working with large groups of people.

• Able to stand outside in all weather conditions and temperatures. Able to assist guests stand up with the possibility of lifting 50+ pounds. Additional
• Previous skiing or snowboarding experience is a plus but not required.

Good communication skills required; guest service; team spirit attitude.

Education/Related Experience :

Minimum education required

• English reading, writing and communication skills, basic math skills. Some computer knowledge required. Minimum time in a related position
• Skiing or snowboarding background helpful but not required.

Equipment and Safety/Protective Equipment Used :

Radios, tablets, shovels, brooms, Pulaski, rakes, drills, chairlifts. Gear provided

• Helmet, Snow pants, inner snow jacket, and outer shell jacket. Gear NOT provided
• Hat, gloves, base layers, boots, board, skis.
