Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Deckhand to play a crucial role in our operations. This position offers opportunities for advancement, with a strong emphasis on job training. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment and be committed to upholding our high standards of safety and excellence. Manage lines and cables to secure crane rigs to and from barges/vessels Conduct inspections of cables and rigging components on the crane deck Perform minor maintenance on equipment and machinery Provide directional signals to crane operators Lubricate crane buckets Assist in drafting barges Operate barge covers Perform general rigging and shifting of barges Ensure cleanliness and safety standards on decks, barges, and ship holds Work with hand tools Perform painting and general upkeep of the crane rig Maintain crane shack/quarters Report incidents through company's reporting protocol Support company safety initiatives Knowledge of crane operations and maintenance preferred Experience with hand tools Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards Competitive benefits package, including paid holidays and vacation Training provided All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including boots and uniforms provided Work/Life Balance Work Schedule Strong 401K Plan Company Sponsored Life Insurance High School or better.
