About the Position The Lube Oil Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of lubricant and petroleum products to customers throughout Southern California. This position plays an important role in ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule while providing the high level of customer service expected by The Jankovich Company. The Driver operates commercial vehicles, loads and unloads products, completes required delivery and inspection documentation, and works closely with customers, dispatch, and operations personnel. This position requires safe driving practices, attention to detail, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and customer service. Compensation Hourly pay range of $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime and double time in accordance with applicable law. Schedule & Work Environment Schedules may include early mornings, evenings, occasional weekends, or holidays based on routes and customer demand. This is a local delivery position; drivers return home at the end of their scheduled shift. As A Member of the
Team, You Will:
Safely load, transport, and unload petroleum and lubricant products in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and trailer equipment meets company safety standards and DOT requirements. Safely connect, transfer, and unload lubricant products using pumps and hoses while monitoring gauges and following spill prevention and environmental control procedures. Accurately complete and submit delivery tickets, inspection reports, and required documentation. Deliver customer orders according to predetermined routes and schedules while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. Unload products from the trailer and deliver them to designated customer receiving areas while inspecting products for damage or leakage. Perform general housekeeping duties in and around your cab and trailer to ensure a clean, organized workspace. Secure vehicles and equipment at the end of each shift in accordance with company procedures. Represent the Company professionally and provide responsive, courteous service during customer deliveries. Participate in safety meetings and ongoing driver training sessions. We Require That You Have A current, valid Class A CDL with Hazmat (HME), Tanker, and Doubles Endorsements, and a clean MVR for the past three years. Current DOT medical certification and TWIC clearance (or ability to obtain). Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, pull hoses, and lift and move up to 50 pounds safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to lift, move, and stack product of varying sizes and weights using liftgates or other equipment. Strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance and customer service. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, occasional weekends, or holidays as needed to meet delivery schedules. Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of commercial driving experience. Previous petroleum or lubricant hauling experience. Previous petroleum or lubricant delivery experience. Experience operating tractor-trailers, tank vehicles, or other commercial delivery equipment. This position is designated as safety-sensitive under DOT regulations and is subject to pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable-suspicion, and other drug and alcohol testing required by applicable DOT regulations. Candidates must also successfully complete a post-offer background check and road test.
