Connect Staffing is hiring a Delivery Driver for a pipe manufacturing company in Stanton, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $25/hr on a Monday-Friday schedule, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. In this role, you will operate flatbed trucks, box trucks, and other Class B vehicles to deliver pipe and manufacturing products to customers and job sites. Overtime of up to 8 hours per week is available.

Manufacturing Plant / Factory Responsibilities Drive flatbed trucks, box trucks, and other Class B vehicles to deliver pipe and manufacturing products to customer locations and job sites. Strap and secure loads on flatbed trailers using proper tie-down techniques before each delivery. Load and offload products at the facility and customer sites, handling items up to 50 lbs. Verify delivery orders and obtain customer signatures or confirmations upon delivery. Inspect vehicle before and after each shift and report any mechanical issues. Coordinate with warehouse staff on load sequencing and delivery scheduling. Minimum Requirements Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). 1+ year of experience driving flatbed or box trucks for deliveries in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment. Preferred Qualifications Forklift operation experience for loading and staging products. Familiarity with pipe, building materials, or heavy industrial product deliveries. Experience with DOT (Department of Transportation) pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures. Ability to read delivery manifests, work orders, and route sheets. Experience operating liftgates or flatbed rigging equipment. Experience loading, strapping, and securing cargo on flatbed trailers.
