Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be the key link between our company and our valued customers, ensuring timely, safe, and professional delivery of products. This is a part time position, for Saturday, Sunday, and Mondays! Duties Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety practices. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity while ensuring timely arrivals. Load, unload, and secure merchandise using safe lifting practices to prevent injury or damage. Communicate effectively with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and build positive relationships. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing sales opportunities during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records for organizational efficiency. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving or automobile transportation preferred. Medical Certification required Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations to ensure safe transportation practices. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting techniques (at least 50lbs) Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently throughout the day.
