McDonough, Forsyth, Locust Grove, Griffin, Hampton, Covington, Conyers, Jonesboro, Riverdale and surrounding communities About the Role We are looking for a reliable, experienced Non-Emergency Medical Transportation driver to join our team in the South Metro Atlanta area. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who values flexibility, enjoys helping others, and is not looking for a traditional 40-hour work week. If you are retired, semi-retired, or simply want meaningful part-time work that fits your lifestyle, this may be the perfect fit. Schedule Monday through Friday; Saturdays and Holidays are required Hours vary throughout the week; nothing past 6:00PM (usually) Early morning starts Approximately 25 to 30 hours per week Compensation Starting at $17.08 per hour Higher pay available based on NEMT experience W2 position; this is not a 1099 or independent contractor role What We Provide Company vehicle; you will not use your personal vehicle All required certifications and training upon hire Requirements Prior Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) experience is required, no exceptions Wheelchair securement experience is mandatory Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record for the past three years Must pass a mandatory background check and drug screening Must own and regularly use a smartphone; a dispatch app is required for this role Must be flexible and patient; this role requires both Willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification and Defensive Driving certificate if not already held Physical Requirements This role requires regular physical activity including assisting passengers in and out of vehicles, loading and securing wheelchairs, and ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout transport. Candidates must be able to perform these duties consistently and safely. Upon Hire, the Following Training Will Be Provided HIPAA Compliance Sexual Harassment Prevention PASS (Passenger Assistance and Safety) Who Thrives in This Role All candidates must have direct passenger transport experience.
