Job Description

Driving position for contracted Fedex Ground delivery service. Must be reliable, and looking for a long term relationship with this company. Full time day positions available. This is a day job- no nights or evening shifts are available. We are unable to accommodate mid-day start times or shortened shifts. Must be 21 years or older to drive for Fedex.

PLEASE READ ALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS.

Responsibilities Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes Follow routes and time schedule Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, as well as maneuver, load, and unload packages of the same weight. Transport and deliver packages from the main Rigby, ID terminal to businesses and residential homes along an assigned route. Follow traffic safety laws, and adhere to all Fedex driving guidelines. Obtain customer signatures when required. Meet delivery and pickup deadlines Perform basic truck maintenance (filling vehicle with gas/diesel daily) Communicate with contractor, and other drivers. Skills & Requirements Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver Good driving record with no traffic violations High school degree Must be 21 years of age Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screen, and DOT physical Have a good driving record Carry a current driver's license Ability to stay alert and focused while driving your assigned route Ability to handle physical workload Communications skills Time management skills

No shows/no answers for scheduled interview times will be automatically disqualified and no longer considered for a driving position.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
