Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a blend of driving experience and technical knowledge, particularly in appliance repair and mechanical systems. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through timely deliveries and professional interactions. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck to deliver appliances and other products to customer locations. Assemble and install appliances as needed upon delivery, ensuring proper functionality. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that arise during the delivery process. Conduct basic appliance repairs or troubleshooting on-site when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules. Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and stocked with necessary tools for repairs or assembly tasks. Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver with a strong understanding of safe driving practices. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics related to appliance repair. Experience in refrigeration, HVAC systems, or field service roles is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs. Familiarity with equipment repair and assembly processes. Electrical experience is a plus, enhancing the ability to troubleshoot various appliance issues. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently during deliveries.
