Duties Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe driving practices Plan efficient delivery routes using organizational skills and route driving knowledge to maximize productivity and minimize delays Engage with customers courteously, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions Handle heavy lifting and automobile transportation tasks with proper safety techniques, including safe lifting practices and proper merchandise merchandising Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, utilizing sales skills to enhance customer satisfaction and company revenue Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries, pricing details, and route records Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to report issues, update delivery statuses, and coordinate route adjustments as needed Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving preferred Strong math skills for handling pricing calculations and transaction processing Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; familiarity with safe lifting practices is essential Knowledge of route driving, merchandising, and organizational skills for efficient deliveries Experience or background in military service is a plus, demonstrating discipline and reliability Familiarity with DOT regulations governing commercial transportation is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real difference!
