Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting skids of newspapers to the US Post Office and Depot locations while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and timeliness. The ideal candidate has strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on a consistent schedule. This position operates six nights per week and requires a commitment to safety and reliability. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a delivery vehicle (cargo van or 26-ft box truck) Load and unload products securely and efficiently Follow established routes and delivery schedules to ensure on-time service Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical or safety issues Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, and fuel tracking Communicate professionally with customers to confirm deliveries and resolve issues Comply with all DOT regulations and traffic laws Assist with warehouse tasks as needed (inventory organization, order preparation, etc.) Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to obtain a Chauffeur's License Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening Previous delivery driving experience preferred Experience operating a 26-ft box truck is a plus Forklift experience is a plus Strong time management and route navigation skills Ability to lift and move heavy packages regularly Dependable and comfortable working overnight hours What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Safety-focused mindset Self-motivated and able to work independently Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping If you meet the requirements above and are interested in this position, please apply with your updated resume.
