Summary Great Lakes Supply Co. is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Appliance/HVAC Mover & Delivery Driver to join our delivery and warehouse team. This role combines delivery driving, material handling, warehouse operations, and customer service. As a member of our delivery team, you are often the face of GLSCO and will regularly interact with property managers, maintenance teams, contractors, and residents. Please Read Before Applying This is not a driving-only position. A significant portion of each workday involves physically moving, carrying, unboxing, and placing appliances and HVAC equipment. Deliveries frequently require navigating stairways, hallways, elevators, and occupied buildings. If you are looking for a position focused primarily on driving, this role may not be the right fit. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDelivery & Customer Service Safely deliver appliances and HVAC equipment throughout Southeast Michigan. Load, unload, move, and place products at customer locations. Unbox appliances and stage products in apartments, hotels, and commercial properties as required. Protect customer property and surroundings during deliveries. Verify deliveries against packing slips and customer orders. Communicate professionally with customers, residents, contractors, and property management teams. Resolve delivery issues professionally while providing an exceptional customer experience. Represent Great Lakes Supply Co. in a positive and professional manner at all times. Driving & Safety Safely operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with all company policies and traffic regulations. Maintain a valid Chauffeur License, DOT Medical Card, and any other required driving credentials. Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns. Follow all company safety procedures and safe lifting practices. Properly use delivery equipment, including appliance dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts, and lift gates. Warehouse & Inventory Receive, stock, organize, and stage inventory. Assist with loading trucks in an efficient and secure manner. Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives. Maintain clean, organized warehouse and truck areas. Assist with general warehouse operations as needed. Team Support Plan delivery routes and stage materials for efficient daily operations. Participate in product and safety training. Assist teammates as needed to ensure successful deliveries and customer satisfaction. Perform additional warehouse and delivery-related duties as assigned. Physical Requirements This is an active, physically demanding position and is not a driving-only role.

Candidates must be able to:

Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Occasionally maneuver items weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance or proper equipment. Push, pull, and move large appliances and HVAC equipment throughout the day. Navigate stairs, hallways, elevators, and occupied buildings while transporting equipment. Bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, and work on their feet for extended periods. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year. Qualifications Valid Chauffeur License required. Current DOT Medical Card required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Positive, professional attitude. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Commitment to safety and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the day. Warehouse, appliance delivery, moving, HVAC, construction, or material-handling experience is preferred but not required.
