Duties Safely operate our delivery trucks (1 ton) and trailers. Knowing how to drive a manual transmission is a plus. Plan efficient delivery routes using organizational skills and route driving knowledge to maximize productivity. Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper heavy lifting practices to prevent damage and ensure safety. Deliver products directly to customers or retail stores, providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships. Explain to customers how to use the equipment properly before leaving the property. Document all deliveries and pick ups Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including pricing details and client signatures. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate deliveries, address concerns, and ensure smooth operations. Be willing to help as needed with maintainenance and cleaning equipment, and loading and unloading customer's rentals at the shop when there are no deliveries. Willingness to work between our two locations in Bolivar, MO and Marshfield, MO. Skills An exceptional driving record is a must, with a solid understanding of route planning and delivery procedures. Knowledge of how to back up a trailer with ease and to load and unload equipment properly and safely. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration. Basic math skills for calculating costs, measurements, and quantities accurately. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Customer relationship-building skills to foster trust and loyalty during each delivery encounter. Organizational skills to manage schedules efficiently and handle multiple deliveries seamlessly. Experience in automobile transportation or retail store environments is a plus.
