Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to customers, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and ensure on-time arrivals Load, unload, and secure merchandise using safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques when necessary Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, answer questions, and build positive relationships through excellent customer service Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with transportation laws Manage delivery documentation accurately, including invoices, delivery logs, and route sheets Skills Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving with a strong understanding of traffic laws and DOT regulations Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination Basic math skills for handling pricing, invoices, and measurements accurately Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and delivery paperwork efficiently Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices Customer relationship building skills to foster trust and repeat business during deliveries Join us as a Delivery Driver if you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your driving expertise, customer service talent, and organizational abilities can shine!
