Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices Plan efficient delivery routes using organizational skills and route driving knowledge to maximize productivity and minimize delays Load and unload merchandise with heavy lifting techniques, ensuring proper merchandising and secure automobile transportation Communicate clearly with clients during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and building lasting relationships Upsell additional products or services where appropriate, demonstrating strong sales skills and product knowledge Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records while following organizational procedures Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs promptly Experience Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles, preferably within retail store environments or similar settings Familiarity with pricing strategies, merchandising, and client communication to enhance customer satisfaction and sales opportunities Strong math skills for handling invoices, measurements, and basic calculations related to deliveries Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and automobile transportation standards Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike Experience in route driving, sales, upselling, and customer relationship building is highly desirable Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocols at all times Embark on a rewarding journey as a Delivery Driver where your energy fuels our success!
