Clovis Steel is seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering steel, roofing materials, and other building products to customers throughout Clovis and the surrounding areas. When not making deliveries, you'll assist with warehouse operations to help keep our team running efficiently. We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and enjoys working in a hands-on environment. Responsibilities Safely operate a company delivery truck while following all traffic laws and company safety policies. Load, secure, transport, and unload steel, roofing materials, and other building products. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Verify deliveries and ensure orders are accurate before leaving the warehouse. Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries. Assist with loading customer vehicles and maintaining an organized warehouse. Help receive, organize, and move inventory as needed. Keep delivery vehicles and work areas clean and well maintained. Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient daily operations. Qualifications Must be at least 26 years old. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely lift and carry heavy materials throughout the workday. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication and customer service skills. Previous delivery driving, warehouse, construction, or building materials experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, and move heavy building materials. Stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Safely load and unload delivery trucks throughout the day.
