General Purpose:
The Shuttle Van Driver provides safe, reliable transportation for employees between Pojoaque and Pajarito Mountain, with additional designated stops in Los Alamos. This position is essential to ensuring staff arrive on time for scheduled shifts from late November or early December through April.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a company 15 passenger van on a fixed daily route, picking up employees in Pojoaque and transporting them to Pajarito Mountain and other stops in Los Alamos. Adhere to the posted shuttle schedule and communicate delays promptly. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and keep the van clean and fueled. Install and remove tire chains on the van as weather and road conditions require. Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies, including safe operation in winter/mountain driving conditions. Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor with passengers and help create a positive start and end to their workday.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Valid New Mexico driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check required). Experience driving passenger vans or similar vehicles preferred; experience with winter and mountain road conditions strongly preferred. Ability to install tire chains in winter conditions, including bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in snow and cold (training provided). Ability to work calmly under pressure and create a fun, professional work environment. Must be dependable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning and afternoon schedules. Must pass any required background and drug screening per company policy.
Schedule:
Seasonal; full-time and part-time positions available. Shifts aligned with mountain operations (early morning pickups and end-of-day returns). Share job details to
