We are seeking a reliable Bakery Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of bakery products to our retail shops and wedding/catering customers. This role requires a clean driving record, excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Duties:

Deliver Bakery Items:

Safely and efficiently deliver a variety of bakery items to retail locations according to the daily delivery schedule.

Load and Unload:

Load baked goods into the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are properly secured and protected during transit.

Package handling:

Carry and transfer large packages/boxes to/from each retail location to the Bakehouse.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the delivery vehicle. Report any vehicle issues or needed repairs to the manager.

Route Management:

Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery, ensuring timely arrivals and departures. Adapt routes as needed based on traffic or delivery changes.

Documentation:

Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery receipts, mileage logs, and any cash transactions. Submit required paperwork to the bakery.

Compliance:

Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards. Adhere to local traffic laws and regulations.

Requirements:

Vehicle:

Must be comfortable driving a Ram ProMaster 1500 van.

Experience:

Previous experience as a delivery driver preferred. Experience in food delivery like Nash, Spark, or DoorDash is a Plus!

Licenses:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Skills:

Strong driving skills and knowledge of local roads and routes. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

Working Conditions Schedule:

Set schedule including early mornings, 10 AM - 12 PM, weekends, and holidays.

Environment:
