Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to our customers, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate must have their own vehicle and be comfortable with route driving and physical tasks involved in heavy lifting. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety and efficiency are prioritized. Responsibilities Drive assigned routes efficiently to deliver products to customers on time. Navigate through various locations using provided routes or GPS systems. Safely lift and carry packages, often involving heavy items, following proper lifting practices to prevent injury. Handle multiple deliveries throughout the workday while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Ensure the security of goods during transit and delivery. Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of your personal vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatch or team members regarding delivery status or issues encountered during routes. Experience Prior experience in delivery driving or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Must possess your own reliable vehicle suitable for transporting goods. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple deliveries. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are important for success in this role.
