Duties Safely operate various vehicles, including commercial trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper lifting practices, including heavy lifting when necessary Communicate professionally with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and build rapport Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety before each shift Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and client interactions Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales goals Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or automobile transportation with a clean driving record Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices for heavy items Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination Basic math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and transaction processing Retail store experience or merchandising skills to support product presentation during deliveries Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining organizational efficiency Customer relationship building skills to foster trust and repeat business Familiarity with sales techniques such as upselling to enhance customer experience and revenue opportunities Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise meets outstanding customer service.
