HPC Industrial powered by Clean Harbors is seeking an Equipment Operator I to support industrial cleaning and environmental services for energy and petrochemical clients. This role safely operates vacuum trucks, high-pressure water blasting, and related equipment at customer sites, following strict procedures and safety standards. Responsibilities include site setup, equipment inspections, hose and line handling, and assisting with confined space and tank cleaning. The Operator works in all weather conditions, supports a team-focused, safety-first culture, and can grow into advanced operator or supervisory roles. Responsibilities Operate vacuum trucks, water blasting, and related industrial cleaning equipment safely at client sites Perform pre- and post-trip equipment inspections and complete basic preventive maintenance checks Assist with industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, and environmental services in energy and petrochemical facilities Set up work areas, hoses, lines, and containment per procedures and customer requirements Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout and confined space entry procedures Accurately follow work orders and instructions from supervisors and job leads Work in outdoor and industrial environments, including varying weather and physically demanding conditions Communicate clearly with crew members to support a team-oriented, safety-first culture Document work performed and report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly Required Skills Heavy equipment operation Industrial vacuum/pressure equipment use Basic mechanical aptitude Lockout/tagout procedures Reading job tickets and work orders Pre/post-trip inspections PPE use and safety compliance Hazard recognition Two-way radio communication Basic math and measurements
