Yr 1 48hrs, Yr 2 80hrs, Yrs 3-9 104hrs, Yrs 10+ 144hrs Dunrite Excavation is an excavation employer, located in Berthoud, CO. Looking for qualified Class A CDL drivers.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a valid commercial driver s license and medical card
  • Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
  • Hauls aggregate materials and equipment to and from job sites
  • Exercises good judgment regarding work site access, unloading and operation to and from work site
  • Performs routine inspections and maintenance on equipment; report defects and repairs to maintenance department
  • Operates other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required
  • Maintains safe and mechanical operation of truck and trailer
  • Adheres to Federal, State and Company regulations
  • Secure load and keep material from spilling onto roadways
  • Deliver to site in a timely manner
  • Complete daily paperwork with time and location
  • Complete DVIR form on Vehicle daily
  • Be alert and attentive always
  • Completes daily pre-trip and post trip inspections
Mechanic Requirements:
  • Class - A CDL and Clean MVR
  • Must be safety-oriented and exhibit safe work habits
  • Must have knowledge of interstate highways and city streets in norther Colorado.
  • Must be able to operate a wide range of equipment well enough to load and unload.
  • Must be self-motivated and task oriented.
  • Must be physically fit to perform loading/unloading
  • Must be able to show proof of age over 21, identity and right to work in the US.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background check.
  • Basic laborer skills necessary.
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Ability to enter and exit CDL truck continuously throughout day.
  • Perform well in a "TEAM" environment
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
  • Willing to work hours that are associated to the construction industry, including overtime and weekends as needed
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to depress clutch pedal as needed continuously throughout day.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Mandatory Training & Compliance All workers, as a condition of employment, are required to complete specific mandatory training modules to ensure a safe, ethical, and compliant working environment.

The company will provide all necessary training at no cost. Required training includes, but is not limited to: Hazard Communication (OSHA compliant) Data protection Position specific training All new employees must complete initial compliance training within the first 90 days of employment and participate in all required annual refreshers. Failure to complete assigned mandatory training is a violation of company policy and may impact employment status.

Compliance Expectation:

All new hires must successfully complete initial mandatory training. Failure to complete or pass required mandatory training is a violation of company policy and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Pay:

$27-$30 per hour DOE Full-time, all local driving
