Non-CDL Shuttle Driver PT Weekends 10:30-3:30 Valet Park of America - 3.5 Atlantis, FL Job Details Part-time $18 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication DOT Physical Certification Full Job Description We are seeking shuttle drivers to work at a facility in Atlantis, FL. These are steady, local routes at JFK Hospital. We operate newer 14-passenger vehicles which do not require a CDL. Currently, we are seeking a driver available for PT Weekends 10:30am-3:30pm both Saturday and Sundays. Shuttle Driver- Job Description The job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we can Safely shuttling customers to various destinations Opening and closing doors for patrons Adhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles Communicating effectively with customers and co-workers. This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendants Completing required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirements Recording passenger counts and trip times Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations Assisting in equipment set up and break down (i.e. signs, cones, etc.) Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness Filling in as a lot attendant when needed Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations Hours Hours will vary as a new schedule is published weekly. However, a typical part-time worker can expect to work either early mornings or afternoons with some variance License required: valid class E (Non-CDL) license in good standing A valid DOT Medical card is also required. (We will pay for qualified applicants to obtain their medical card if necessary - a simple DOT physical). Professional driving experience is a plus. Background checks and driving tests will be conducted. Due to insurance regulations, Shuttle Drivers must be 20 years old, and have at least 3 years of licensed driving experience in the US.
