Our Class A CDL drivers are committed to achieving our customer service expectations with daily deliveries. Class A CDL driver that loads, delivers, and unloads fine grind Calcium Carbonate and other mineral ingredients. The primary loading plant location and truck domicile is Alden, IA. Driving

• Safe and timely delivery of products. CDL A driving requires critical thinking skills to plan, communicate, operate, and navigate the pneumatic equipment. Physical abilities will be required to unload and load products, maintain and service equipment. Technical abilities are required to operate the equipment and logging devices. Loading & Unloading
• Moderate work required for proper placement of hoses. CDL A drivers are required to scale equipment to open, close and seal hatches. At times will be required to enter trailer for additional clean out. Proper use of personal protection equipment is required. Teamwork
• Daily communication and coordination with peers, plant operators and dispatch.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Work Experience:

minimum of one year driving experience or qualified driving school with minimum 8-week course.

Education:

Minimum GED or High School Diploma. Additional training and credentials are preferred. Prior pneumatic experience is a plus.

Driving record:

maintained a clean driving record for 3 years. Primary loading plant location is Alden, Iowa Maximum allowable DOT hour regulations will be met on a weekly basis Physical abilities required to load and unload product, plus maintain and service equipment Lift up to 100 pounds Attend company training Pass hiring drug screen and physical Pass on-going, random drug testing Continuous learning-new regulations, operation of equipment, interpersonal skills, electronic logging devices Versatility in adverse driving and weather conditions Customer service mindset
