Description:
To provide safe, accurate, and timely delivery of feed products while building strong customer relationships, supporting operational excellence, and enhancing the value and service provided to Cooperative member-owners and customers. This position contributes to the Cooperative's mission by maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting operational needs, and delivering professional, dependable service that promotes customer satisfaction and organizational success.
Requirements:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Transportation & Customer Service Deliver bulk feed and other products to customers. Pick up inventory from suppliers and transfer product between Cooperative locations. Deliver ingredients and inventory to support daily feed mill operations. Load, unload, and verify products against delivery tickets and customer orders. Develop a working knowledge of customers' operations to ensure accurate deliveries. Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relationships. General Labor & Operations Support Assist with receiving, handling, storing, and transferring inventory. Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning vehicles, equipment, work areas, and facilities. Assist with loading, unloading, inventory management, and seasonal operational needs. Operate equipment and machinery after proper training. Support other departments and locations as business needs require. Reporting & Communication Complete required trip reports, inspections, and documentation accurately and on time. Communicate customer concerns, equipment issues, safety hazards, and business opportunities to management. Report accidents, incidents, and operational concerns promptly. Safety & Compliance Comply with all Cooperative policies and applicable HACCP, FDA, OSHA, DOT, state, and federal regulations. Maintain a valid Class A CDL and required certifications. Attend required safety meetings and training programs. Promote a safe, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Professional Expectations Represent the Cooperative in a professional manner through appearance, communication, and conduct. Demonstrate reliability, accountability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Perform other duties as assigned.
