Job Summary:

We are grain farm seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various destinations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our products. We primarily haul grain for our farm and local elevators.

Duties:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including hopper bottoms and dump trailers
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience
• Proficient in route driving and navigating various locations
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus
• Experience with automotive repair is preferred

Skills:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with appropriate endorsements
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Ability to load and unload cargo using proper techniques
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for transporting hazardous materials
